Chinese Story Room

My name is Qinyi Zhao, and I go by Kareina. I am 17 years old and currently a rising senior in high school. I’m a very easygoing person. In my free time, I enjoy singing, dancing, and reading. Of course, I also love making friends and talking to other people. I love interacting with kids as well; it brings a lot of joy and warmth to my heart to see bright smiles on children’s faces.

The Chinese Story Room is a wonderful place to share stories that have accompanied someone through his or her childhood or even adulthood. It’s a free and creative place where children can share the poems, fairytales, and even riddles they love while improving their Chinese listening, reading, and speaking skills. Through sharing and listening to entertaining short stories and other forms of literary works, everyone can laugh, relax, and enjoy the time that we spend together. I hope to spread Chinese culture to younger generations in an engaging way, whether it’s through short stories or riddles, with this club!

我叫赵沁苡,我的英文名字叫Kareina。我今年17岁了,在高中读十二年级。我是一个开朗且好相处的女孩。在闲暇时间,我喜欢唱歌、跳舞、读书。当然,我也非常愿意交朋友和聊天。我还很乐意跟小朋友们打交道,他们脸上挂着的灿烂阳光的笑容总能让我心生暖意。

中文故事会是一个可以分享一些陪伴了小朋友们度过童年的故事的好地方。 故事会也是一个有创意且自由的地方,孩子们可以在这里分享他们喜欢的诗歌、童话、谜语等作品,同时也能够提高他们的汉语听、读、说能力。 通过分享和聆听有趣的短篇小故事于其它形式的文学作品,每个小朋友都可以欢笑这享受在故事会度过的时光。 我希望能够通过这个俱乐部,通过小故事、谜语等中文作品,以一种有趣的方式向大家传播中国文化!
