About me

    Hi everyone, my name is Yufei Dang and I am the leader of the “Chinese Idiom & Cartoon group”. I am currently a sophomore at American High School located in Fremont, and soon I will become a junior. During my free time, I like to go out with friends, read books, and workout. The book genre I like to read currently is fictional and adventurous. I love to help kids improve their Chinese and make the learning environment fun for the kids. So hope that you will be joining our circle soon!

About Chinese Idiom & Cartoon Class

Chinese Idiom Class, and Chinese Cartoon Class will help you on your journey on improving Chinese. During the Chinese Idiom Class & Chinese Cartoon Class held on zoom, you would be able to learn in a motivating, and fun environment. Our Chinese Idiom class starts at 10:00-11:00 am every Saturday. During our class time, we would be watching different Chinese fictions. Like “Journey to the West”/”西游记”, where we would be able to learn about the many different kind of vocabs while watching the film. Our Chinese Cartoon Class starts right after the Chinese Idiom Class. It starts at 11:05-12:05 pm every Saturday. During our Zoom time, I would be reading many different Chinese books and watching many different meaningful Cartoons. For example, the book I’m reading to my students right now is called “受欢迎的小秘密”. The book is talking about forming good habits and how we should talk to people. And after we would read some chapters together, we would be able to watch a cartoon for the rest of the class time.
