Cards for Kidz

Hi, I’m Chloe Zhang, a rising junior at Basis Independent Fremont. I have been volunteering at LTN since seventh grade. I have always been dedicated toward helping the people around me with the skills I have, whether that is through playing music, making cards, or volunteering at the local food bank. I am currently leading Cardz for Kidz where we make handcrafted cards from our amazing volunteers here at LTN to bring cheer to terminally ill or traumatized children. In the free time that I have, I enjoy reading books ranging in genre from literature to history and drawing webtoons.

At Cardz for Kidz, we give our volunteers lots of creative freedom and time for them to craft heartwarming messages for children that are terminally ill or traumatized. By doing so, we hope to bring a bit of a smile, some laughter, and a touch of love into their lives. This is the fourth year of this event, and we do hope to continue this event. You are welcome to join us every winter!
